Most floors of this type usually have a softwood core. Platinum Engineered Hardwood Range is also finished with 6 coats of anti-scratch UV lacquer. Prime grade Asian Walnut consists of predominatly heartwood and also contains some sapwood, resulting in a floor with a very uniformed and unique appearance.
