The platinum range is manufactured to the highest possible standard and is one of the highest quality engineered hardwood products available in todays market place. For additional strength it is constructed as a 15mm pre-finished multi layered engineered hardwood board, with a 4mm wear layer on a hardwood timber core,Most floors of this type usually have a softwood core. Platinum range is also finished with 6 coats of anti-scratch UV lacquer. Prime grade engineered hardwood consists of predominatly heartwood and also contains some sapwood, resulting in a floor with a very uniformed unique appearance.
